The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
For 35 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities® has been creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well being of nearly four million children a year. Our Ronald McDonald Houses® offer families an affordable place to stay near and support a hospitalized child, which helps children in the healing progress. Our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms® provide a comfortable place to rest within the hospital, often just steps from their child’s bedside. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® program provide basic medical and dental care in underserved communities.
We believe that when you change a child’s life, you change a family’s, which can change a community, and ultimately the world. We strive to be part of that change and part of the solution in improving the lives of children and their families. We don’t do it alone. We rely on our Chapters to identify needs and carry out our mission on the ground. We rely on our strong relationships with the medical community to provide access to health care. We rely on strategic alliances with organizations that have the knowledge and infrastructure to extend our reach. We rely on you – our donors, volunteers, staff and friends.
In summary, your support allows our programs to: • Help seriously ill children heal better and faster • Bridge the access to health care by providing medical, dental and health education services to underserved communities • Ease the financial burden on family by providing them a place to stay while their child receives treatment • Allow families to face the weight of a child’s illness together For more information, go to rmhc.org.
